    Thanks for publishing “Unclaimed bodies honored at county ceremonies” (June 1, Local News).

    I wish those people who are so eager to take a chain saw to government programs would read this article. I was moved by the compassionate statements of the county employees and officials at the ceremony. Their work to locate the families of the deceased and, where needed, to provide them with a respectful burial is just one example of what government does that makes this a society worth living in.
