Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Jaw-Dropping Snaps Of Dental Surgery

As a child, Gypsy Rose was a victim of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, with her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, allegedly convincing her that she had multiple illnesses. This manipulation led to Gypsy Rose undergoing several unnecessary medical procedures.

As The Blast reported, one of those surgeries included having several of Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s teeth and salivary glands removed, claiming her daughter was suffering from tooth decay.

Gypsy teamed up with Peppermint Sage Dental for an incredible dental transformation.

On Monday, October 21, Peppermint Sage Dental shared an Instagram video which featured a joyful photo of Gypsy Rose alongside Dr. Michelle Corcoran, proudly displaying her new smile.

“Thank you @gypsyrose.ig for trusting us to enhance your smile. We wish you only the best,” Peppermint Sage Dental captioned the video.

Gypsy replied, “I can not thank you enough for the best glow up I could ever dream of.”

The video also included before-and-after images of Gypsy Rose’s dental work, highlighting the significant changes in her mouth, such as the absence of her previous silver teeth and the appearance of her new replacements.

However, the post did not specify the exact procedure she underwent.

This latest treatment is not the first Gypsy has undergone since getting out on parole. She also opted for rhinoplasty, a decision that came with its own set of challenges.

During a recent episode of the “Going Deeper with Gypsy-Rose Blanchard and Ken” podcast, aired on Wednesday, October 16, she opened up about her experience, revealing that she felt “a little bit” of anxiety stemming from past trauma as she navigated the surgical process.

She admitted that her anxiety was “not as much as people might think because this was a surgery that I chose to have of my own free will. This is something that I had been wanting for a long time. I had been teased for my nose forever, and social media just made that even worse. I was called the nose.”

Gypsy Rose is opening up to her fans and continuing her advocacy for those impacted by Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy with the release of her new memoir, “My Time to Stand.”

In this candid new project, she shares her journey and insights, aiming to support others who have faced similar struggles and to raise awareness about the often-misunderstood condition.

“Only because I did the work, did my time to stand finally come,” she said after she was released from prison. “Now, I can stand with other victims as they take steps toward doing whatever work is necessary to stand for themselves. ‘My Time to Stand’ is about reclaiming my footing so others can be inspired to walk a life of purpose and meaning and build a future sturdy enough so others can stand for something, too.”

She also opened up about the book title, revealing, “I am in love with the title of my book not only because it addresses the question I get most, but because in our pain and struggle, we can find what it is that we want to stand for. That inside our stories, if we dare to sit in the stillness of them, our purpose can be revealed. And we all have a purpose. That’s what I hope people will take away from my book.”

Gypsy Rose is passionate about advocating for survivors of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, using her platform to raise awareness and provide support for those who have endured similar trauma.

“As a survivor desperate to figure out ways to inspire others to find hope, it’s necessary to face inward—to question, to be introspective,” she explained when announcing her new memoir. “In processing and retelling my memories, so much more truth has been revealed to me, including the victimization of the other people in my family and community.”

The ex-convict says she hopes “to engage readers by describing my journey, instead of explaining it” because by doing so, “others might see themselves in my story, too, and relate.”

“My Time to Stand” will be released on December 10, 2024.
