An illegal alien from Cuba with a lengthy criminal history, including murder, fatally shot a Texas father in front of his two children on Sunday.
Fernandez De La Paz, 36, was captured on home surveillance video fatally shooting a 34-year-old Harris County, Texas, father in front of his family.
The victim, Ediesky Incencio Pineiro, was struck in the chest and later died in the hospital.
The wife of the victim, who is the killer’s ex brother-in-law, says he previously threatened to kill her entire family and flee to Mexico.
According to court documents, De La Paz previously shot two men and killed one of them, but prosecutors dismissed that murder case in 2017, citing self-defense.
De La Paz illegally entered the US in 2016 (Obama) and ordered removed in 2019 (Trump 1.0). He also ran a credit card skimming scheme. De La Paz was last released from prison in November 2024 (Biden). Records show De La Paz had an ICE detainer.

Showing up to the home in a gym tank top, De La Paz allegedly shot 34-year-old Ediesky Incencio Pineiro in the chest.
The victim, who was shot in front of his family, later died at the hospital.
Her sister was staying at the house and used to be in a relationship with Fernandez De La Paz, which she described as toxic and violent.
