Kelly got engaged to Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson on July 5, and her father was there to witness the happy moment.

Wilson proposed to Kelly backstage during Ozzy’s farewell concert in Birmingham. The Blast reported that when Kelly shared the happy moment on Instagram, her father playfully commented, “F-ck off, you’re not marrying my daughter.”

However, Ozzy died shortly after, throwing Kelly into mourning and leaving her no time to bask in the euphoria of her engagement.

The fashion designer took to Instagram to share her feelings about the unfortunate situation. She wrote that she was “unhappy” and “sad,” adding, “I lost the best friend I ever had.”

Last year, Kelly spoke about Ozzy’s struggles with Parkinson’s disease during a candid interview.

The TV personality said that it was heartbreaking to watch her father’s health deteriorate, noting that she didn’t know “good days from bad days.” She admitted that she received a shocking realization when it became clear that her parents were “fragile” and not as “invisible” as she thought.

Kelly also revealed that Ozzy’s illness affected everyone else in the family, and no one could predict when more problems would come.

Shortly after Ozzy died, WWE star Becky Lynch had a confrontation with Nikki Bella, during which she told her that the only good thing to come out of Birmingham was Ozzy Osbourne. Lynch further added that the late singer only lived for a long time because he left the city and moved to Los Angeles.

The joke struck a nerve with Kelly, who was still in the midst of grieving her father. She took to Instagram to slam Lynch, calling her a “disrespectful d-rtbag,” per The Blast.

She also wrote that Birmingham does not care enough about her to even tolerate the disrespect in the first place. Kelly then condemned WWE for allowing Lynch to come after her late father and her hometown publicly.
