Jalen Ramsey reportedly has a clear trade preference

Trade rumors continue to surround Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and a new report suggests he has a clear preference for where he would like to go.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed in an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” Friday that Ramsey’s preference would be to return to the West Coast. Schefter cited the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams, one of Ramsey’s former teams, as preferred landing spots.

“(Ramsey) would like to go to the West Coast, to Los Angeles — Rams, Chargers, somewhere like that,” Schefter said, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

Ramsey has made little secret of the fact that he is looking for a way out of Miami. The veteran cornerback played for the Rams from 2019 to 2022 and won a Super Bowl with the team, but it remains to be seen if the team is willing to make the necessary moves to bring him back.

Ramsey is due to make $24.235 million in 2025, which is why the Dolphins are trying to move on. They will likely have to eat some of that money to facilitate a move, though he may have to wait until closer to training camp to get his wish at this point.
