    Jamie Foxx Shares A New Year’s Message On Instagram

    Jamie Foxx is spreading joy on Instagram with a Happy New Year video message for his fans.

    Foxx shared the video on New Year’s Eve, and the comedian is “too blessed to be stressed” this holiday season.

    The “Ray” actor also noted that he was “too blessed to be stressed” days after he was attacked at his birthday dinner in Beverly Hills by a crew member from “Jackass” on Dec. 13.

    Despite needing stitches after the incident, Jamie Foxx still has a positive attitude and wants to spread the love!

    Jamie Foxx Is Feeling ‘Thankful’ And ‘Grateful’ In 2025

    Foxx shared his Happy New Year message with the caption, “HAPPY NEW YEAR!! This one is gone hit different.. so much to be thankful for… I’m too blessed to be stressed… Sending love and light to everybody… ‘What Had Happened Was’ ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

    In the video, Foxx said he was “thankful” and “grateful” to everyone who prayed for him during his recovery from a stroke. He also thanked those who supported his Netflix special, “Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…”

    “Happy New Year. The New Year about to be here,” said Foxx. “Look, I can’t even tell you, I ain’t even gotta tell you how grateful I am. How thankful I am. Thankful [to] everybody that supported ‘What Had Happened Was…,’ man. It was beautiful. That was a testimony to everybody that prayed.”

    Jamie Foxx Suffered From A Stroke

    Foxx suffered from a stroke while in Atlanta filming “Back in Action” in 2023 and spent several weeks unconscious.

    He said in his comedy special, “Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…” that he learned how to walk again at a rehabilitation center in Chicago. In his video, the “Django” actor thanked everyone who prayed for him during his recovery.

    “Thank you for praying, giving me life,” he added. “So, you know, look, I’m happy! I’m grateful. I’m blessed, and I hope you are blessed wherever you are with this New Year. Let’s go on and get it.”

    “Happy New Year to ya,” he sang to the theme of Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday” theme.

    Jamie Foxx Is Getting Back On The Road

    Foxx added that he would be getting back on the road to share his comedy with his fans soon.

    “I got all these jokes I wanna tell. I got all this joy I wanna spread,” he said. “And here’s the thing, my 2025 is simple. It’s all love, no hate… I hope wherever you are, joy is happening in your life because joy is happening in my life… God is good! Bless you. Turn up! Big up! Happy 2025!”

    Foxx didn’t say precisely when he would return on the road, but his comedy special is currently streaming on Netflix. He also has a new movie coming out, “Back in Action,” on Jan. 17.

    The film also stars “Charlie’s Angels” actress Cameron Diaz.

    Foxx Required Stitches After A ‘Jackass’ Crew Member Hit Him In The Face With A Glass

    Foxx was celebrating his birthday with his family and friends at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills when a crew member from “Jackass” used a laser pointer to project an image of a p-nis onto the actor’s table.

    The comedian was with his two daughters — one of whom is a minor — and he did not find the joke funny. After confronting the “Jackass” group to ask them to stop, he reportedly said, “In front of my daughters?”

    After things escalated, one of the crew threw a heavy glass at Foxx and hit him in the face, which required stitches.

    A few days later, Foxx shared a message on Instagram saying he was “too blessed to be stressed.”

    “The devil is a lie. Can’t win here,” he wrote. “Thank you to everybody that pray and check on me… when your light is shining bright… they try to bring you darkness … but they don’t know that you’re built for it… the lights have been shining bright… and huge thank yous to everyone that have watched and been inspired by “What Had Happened Was” … number 1 on @netflix if you haven’t checked it out please go check it out it’s from my heart and my soul.”

    The post included text that read, “The devil is busy… but I’m too blessed to be stressed.”

    ‘Back in Action’ Premieres On Jan. 17

    Foxx’s new action movie with Diaz premieres on Netflix on Jan. 17.

    The two actors play a married couple and ex-spies who are drawn back into the espionage world after their cover is blown.

    Foxx shared a clip of  “Back in Action” on Instagram in November with the caption, “We’re living our best lies. BACK IN ACTION premieres January 17.”

    The trailer features Foxx and Diaz fighting off several culprits at a gas station in a firey scene. “I felt like that b-tch again,” exclaimed Diaz’s character as she described spy life.
