Jaylen Brown is dealing with a knee injury as the Boston Celtics prepare to defend their NBA title, and the star forward did not want to talk much about the ailment ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Orlando Magic. He did, however, answer one important question.
Following the Celtics’ shootaround on Sunday, Brown was asked about the recent pain injections he received to treat what the team has called a right knee posterior impingement. Brown responded that he is “not here to talk about my knee” and said the condition “is what it is.”
A reporter then followed up by asking if Brown will be on a minutes restriction in Boston’s first-round series against the Magic. He said he will not.
