Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sánchez’s Wedding Location Revealed

Reports suggest the couple has started sending out their wedding invitations as they reveal the destination of their nuptials.

Lauren Sánchez previously dished that she had been “thinking about the dress” she’ll wear on her wedding day, even revealing that she has “a Pinterest” to help her prepare.

Multiple reports have confirmed that Bezos and Sánchez are finally ready to tie the knot and have sent out invitations for the ceremony.

The couple has been inseparable since they began dating in 2018. Their relationship became public in early 2019 after the billionaire and his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, announced their divorce.

By May 2023, Bezos and Sánchez got engaged, with the billionaire proposing to the Emmy-winning journalist with a $2.5 million ring after nearly five years of dating.

According to the Daily Mail, the duo’s luxury wedding is set to take place in Venice, Italy, later this summer.

Bezos and Sánchez seemingly fell in love with Italy as they celebrated their engagement with an exquisite bash on his yacht in Positano.

The couple has been previously married to other partners. Bezos boss was married to Scott from 1993 to 2019, welcoming four children together.

On the other hand, Sánchez married Patrick Whitesell from 2005 until 2019, when their divorce was finalized.

They welcomed two children during their relationship, and Sánchez is also mother to son Nikko, whom she shares with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.

Bezos and Sánchez’s wedding is so highly anticipated that rumors started spreading that they would tie the knot in a $600 million Aspen wedding in December last year.

However, Bezos took to X to address the speculation at the time, writing, “This whole thing is completely false – none of this is happening. The old adage ‘don’t believe everything you read’ is even more true today than it ever has been.”

“Now lies can get ALL the way around the world before the truth can get its pants on,” he added. “So be careful out there folks and don’t be gullible. It will be interesting to see if all the outlets that ‘covered’ and re-reported on this issue a correction when it comes and goes and doesn’t happen.”

Meanwhile, Sánchez is obviously looking forward to walking down the aisle with Bezos, as she revealed in an interview with Today about how “life is just beginning” for her.

Reminiscing about her wedding plans, the Emmy-winning writer said she’s “very excited about it, thinking about the dress. I have to say, I do have a Pinterest. I’m just like every other bride.”

“I never thought at 54 – I’m going to be 55 – that I’d be an author, that I’d be getting married. I mean, life is just beginning,” she added.

In a past interview with Vogue Magazine, Sánchez was asked if she would be taking Bezos’s name upon tying the knot, to which she replied, “Uh, yes, one hundred percent. I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos.”

“I think there are a lot of opportunities that come with that, and I take those opportunities very seriously,” she said about marrying the billionaire. “We always look at each other and go, ‘We’re the team.’ So everything’s shared.”

Picking a wedding dress for her big day might be a daunting task for Sánchez as she shared in her interview with Vogue that there were “so many incredible designers” to choose from.

She went on to name some of her favorites, including Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino.

According to the Daily Mail, New York-based bridal stylist and designer Barbara Letizia shared that she believes Sánchez could go for a “mermaid-style gown” complete with a “long, dramatic train” for the ceremony.

“I see her in a gown that accentuates her curves,” Letizia told the news outlet last month.

“I think it will have some sort of beading and crystals,” she continued. “She may even have a corseted bodice with a sheer or lace element because she has worn similar styles to past events.”

For the reception, Letizia said she could see Sánchez wearing something that was “fitted and sparkly” or even a dress that had a “leg slit.”

In an August interview with People Magazine, Sánchez shared a glimpse into her life with the billionaire. Despite their lavish lifestyle, she revealed that some of their favorite moments are simple and low-key.

“My favorite time is when the house is calm and quiet, and Jeff and I are deciding what show we’re going to binge that night,” Sánchez said.

She admitted they often disagree on what to watch, adding: “It takes a little bit of time to decide,” Sánchez said. “You can imagine our tastes are a little different. But I love our TV time, we just have the best time.”

Sánchez also highlighted some of the shows she and Bezos have enjoyed watching together.

“We recently watched ‘Baby Reindeer’ — like everyone else. ‘Fallout’ was amazing too. We just finished ‘Presumed Innocent,’ which was incredible,” she said. “Oh, and we absolutely loved ‘Severance.'”
