Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly been in close communication since the L.A. fires forced the actor to evacuate his home in Pacific Palisades.

The singer has already canceled several of her upcoming media appearances to “focus” on supporting relief efforts for the communities affected by the raging disaster.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck recently settled their divorce after their two-year marriage ended last year.

Lopez has seemingly put aside her differences with Affleck to support him and his children during these sad times.

According to reports, the “Hustlers” actress was “worried and concerned” for his safety after learning that his neighborhood was among those forced to evacuate in the wake of the fires.

A source told Page Six that she “reached out as soon as she heard about Ben’s home possibly being in danger and that he was evacuated” to know how he was faring during the “whole ordeal,” as well as to assure him that “she’s there for him and the kids.”

“She offered her support for whatever they need,” the source explained, adding that Lopez has offered “assistance in any way she can.”

The “Argo” actor acquired his $20.5 million Pacific Palisades “bachelor’s pad” in July 2024, the same day Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday.

Although he was forced to evacuate the property, Affleck recently returned to his home to check on it, as it luckily survived the Pacific Palisades wildfires.

Early last year, Affleck and Lopez sparked speculation about a martial discord after months of not being publicly pictured together.

Affleck even left their Beverly Hills marital home and moved into a $100,000-per-month rental property in Brentwood, close to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their children.

According to Page Six, while Affleck’s home survived being burned down in the fires, he’s still nor clear to return permanently.

“Ben’s home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being,” a source told the news outlet.

“Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation, and it’s beyond tragic. … Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help,” the source added.

The L.A. fires have reportedly left over 10 people dead and 170,000 more displaced or forced to evacuate as relief efforts get underway. Over 2,000 structures, including homes and businesses, have been wiped out.

Aside from “checking in” on her ex-husband, Affleck, Lopez has also made other sacrifices to cater to those affected by the fires.

According to People Magazine, the “Love Dont Cost A Thing” singer Lopez canceled several of her upcoming media appearances to shift her “focus” towards supporting relief efforts for the devastating Los Angeles fires.

The actress and pop superstar was slated for interviews on several high-profile New York City-based programs in the coming weeks in support of her film “Unstoppable,” which was produced by Affleck.

Lopez was supposed to appear on “The View,” “Live With Kelly and Mark,” “Today,” and Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show,” but would now focus on the disaster and those affected by it.

Lopez and Affleck finally settled their divorce after the singer filed to dissolve their marriage in August.

The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer filed a settlement document in the Los Angeles Superior Court that showed who gets what after the split. The document was signed on September 25, 2024, but it wasn’t filed until December 31, 2024. It will become official on February 20, 2025.

The exes didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement during their marriage, so they settled through mediation with Hollywood divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.

According to TMZ, they would each get what they purchased during their marriage, as neither of them is ready to slug it out over money. Also, neither will pay spousal support to the other; however, details about other financial matters have been kept private.
