Pop superstar Jennifer Lopez has seemingly been dealt a major career blow.

The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer has reportedly parted ways with her record label following the disappointing sales of her 2024 album “This Is Me… Now.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez is currently on tour, where she has debuted several unreleased songs that seemingly allude to her split from Ben Affleck..

Lopez’s split from her record label is the latest setback to have befallen the pop star, following the breakdown of her marriage to husband Affleck.

The “Jenny From The Block” singer, who has previously worked with top record labels including Columbia, Epic, and Capitol Records, released her 2024 album, “This Is Me… Now,” under BMG, a major label also home to Rita Ora and Kylie Minogue.

According to The Sun, that partnership was a one-album deal, which they’ve now axed following the album’s dismal sales.

Lopez is reportedly seeking a new record label to release her upcoming album, which is said to be inspired by her split from Affleck.

Lopez, who has sold more than 80 million copies worldwide, has already performed some new songs with bold lyrics on her ongoing European tour.

The tracks include “Wreckage Of You,” on which she sings: “Thank you for the scars you left on my heart. I won’t fall apart because of who you are and all your broken parts.”

On “Up All Night,” which the tour is named after, she sings: “I’m up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life. I bet you wish that you were by my side. I got tired of you breaking me down.”

According to The Sun, Lopez, who turned 56 yesterday, released her new single “Birthday” via a small company.

She marked the occasion with a lavish birthday party on Wednesday evening following her latest show in Antalya, Turkey.

In a clip shared on Instagram, the singer can be seen having the time of her life on the dance floor with a three-tier cake featuring in it.

A source told the news outlet that she has “written and recorded enough tracks for a whole new album,” and that the songs are “inspired by what she went through during her relationship with Ben.”

The mom-of-two has seemingly found it difficult to find a new home for her songs following the disappointing performance of her last album.

“Jennifer is obviously massively successful and talented, but it’s been hard for her to find a label with which she’s on the same page,” a music insider told the news outlet.

“After her last album came out, it was decided she wouldn’t continue with BMG as it wasn’t the success she wanted,” they explained.

The source added, “It only went to No. 55 in the UK. But her team wants to push her forward with this new music. She has spent a lot of time in the studio this year.”

Lopez’s record label setback comes after she settled her divorce from Affleck in January, just two years after their talk-of-the-town wedding.

During her performance at Italy’s Lucca Summer Festival earlier this week, the “Hustlers” actress seemingly dished on how she “likes it” in the bedroom before taking a swipe at Affleck.

“I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night,” she said, according to The US Sun. “I don’t know about you, but I do… and sometimes I like it hard.”

Lopez then continued: “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.”

“But there’s other days…maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside. I feel a little more naughty,” she said.

Her NSFW disclosure sent the crowd into a frenzy, after which she cheekily added: “You ever get that feeling?”

“Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast,” Lopez said.

Since her split from Affleck, both stars have barely talked about their marriage, with Affleck hinting that they are still on good terms despite their divorce.
