Justin Timberlake has been facing backlash online for his ongoing world tour, as fans accuse him of delivering “lazy” performances and singing only a minimal selection of his songs.

Some concertgoers even criticized his behavior as “rude” and “disrespectful,” with many demanding a refund.

Now, insiders claim Justin Timberlake is “in a rut” and needs to do something new to appease his fans as the singer knows he has “lost his mojo.”

Timberlake’s world tour is seemingly not living up to the hype many fans had expected it to.

The pop icon appears to be facing some challenges, as his tour has been plagued by alleged concert delays, a perceived decline in performance quality, and a surprising lack of live vocal delivery.

It comes after a video made the rounds on social media earlier this month, showing the “Mirror” singer lashing out at his stage crew in the middle of his set at England’s Lytham Festival.

The viral clip showed Timberlake taking it out on them as sound issues disrupted his performance before he walked away.

According to reports, he has now come under fire for his tour stops in Romania and Ireland, as concertgoers accuse him of a “lazy” lip sync and demand that he be canceled for wasting his fans’ money.

Insiders Claim The Singer Is ‘In A Rut’ And Needs To Switch Things Up

A source close to Timberlake told the Daily Mail that the pop star is “in a rut” amid the controversies that have plagued his tour, adding that he desperately “needs to do something new.”

One viral video on TikTok hinted at the singer’s woes, as a fan who paid “a lot of money” to see him perform live called him “an absolute disappointment.”

According to concert goers, Timberlake was late getting on stage for his performance and only sang about five words of each song. He also wore his shades throughout the concert and seemed disconnected from the audience, leading many of them to walk out in anger.

“You can’t be singing two songs and then taking a break,” the content creator said, calling his behavior “rude” and “disrespectful,” before asking him to “rethink” the concept behind his tour.

The allegedly “lackluster” performance was said to be so embarrassing that multiple fans demanded a refund. The situation appeared to be the same in Dublin, as videos from the concert showed Timberlake dropping his mic while walking lazily around the stage.

One of the alleged reasons why Timberlake hasn’t been upbeat about his performances is that he’s tired of doing his old songs.

The insider who spoke to the Daily Mail said Timberlake “wants to create new music and to do something he hasn’t done yet,” but he’s worn out by continually doing his old songs for many years now and has become unmotivated.

Meanwhile, fans would appreciate him reuniting with his NSYNC boy band as rumors of their reunion reach fever pitch.

According to the news outlet, some fans have passionately pleaded with him online to have the others join him, joking that if he’s going to sing so little, he should at least do it with them.

“It’s embarrassing how he’s been basically doing karaoke,” the source noted. “He knows that he’s lost his mojo and he really wants it back.”

Meanwhile, Timberlake’s “sub-par” performances and underwhelming concert stops seem to be taking a toll on his marriage to Jessica Biel.

According to the Daily Mail, the actress believes things are not the same as when he first started his tour and feels it has taken a toll on him.

“Jessica thinks Justin has aged years since he started The Forget Tomorrow World Tour last April,” a separate source told the news outlet.

The source added that the actress has seen “how it has taken its toll on him, not just physically but emotionally.”

According to an insider, Biel is also worried that Timberlake has “taken on way too much,” adding that “he’s no longer a twentysomething who can fly around the world doing concert after concert.”

The cancellation of his shows on short notice has also compounded Timberlake’s woes as he’s reportedly struggling with low ticket sales and is upset about it.

“He’s become short-tempered both on and off stage,” the source added.

The singer has yet to directly address the wave of backlash he has been facing from fans online.
