Kanye West has made a U-turn on his previous statements about being a Nazi, which earned him severe backlash online.

Earlier this month, the rapper stunned many people following a foul-mouthed tirade on X, which eventually led to his account being deactivated.

However, his profile suddenly resurfaced on the social media platform three days after its deactivation, though his account now comes with a “sensitive content” warning.

Kanye West Says He Is ‘Not A Nazi’

On Wednesday, Kanye caused a stir on X when he retracted his initial statement about being a Nazi.

The “Jesus Walks” rapper posted, “After further reflection I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.”

Kanye’s post sees him make a complete turnaround from his remarks earlier this month in which he caused widespread outrage with his praise for Adolf Hitler.

The rapper was heavily criticized after making several antisemitic, homophobic, and hate-filled posts on X.

Some of his controversial posts included him writing, “I love Hitler, now what b-tches,” after which he wrote, “I’m a Nazi.”

He also requested his followers to call him “Yadolf Yitler” and praised the late dictator further, writing, “Hitler was sooooo fresh.”

Kanye is one of the most controversial celebrities and always finds a way to make news headlines with his comments. Unsurprisingly, his post about not being a Nazi caused a stir online, with many people sharing their thoughts.

One person admitted, “YE will go down in history as one of the most MISUNDERSTOOD artists of all time.”

Another person shared, “well, that’s… a step in the right direction I guess.”

A third person, hopeful that the post meant a return to a saner version of the music producer, added, “Welcome back, Kanye West.”

A fourth person wondered, “Who are you, and what have you done with Kanye West?”

Since making his X comeback, Kanye has continued to be active on the platform, sharing his thoughts on several issues. Soon after returning, he responded to the backlash that greeted his Swastika T-shirt, which he listed as the only item for sale on his Yeezy website.

That action prompted Shopify, the e-commerce platform hosting the Yeezy website to shut it down.

In a now-deleted post after his X comeback, Kanye said about the shirt, “No one seems to wanna produce me wittle t-shirt.”

He added, per the Daily Mail, “I remember going to Japan and gasping when I saw what is known as the swastika on clothing. It felt illegal to even look at it [but then] I found out that swastika had many different meanings and many different names.”

He wrote, “I’ve had my swastika t-shirt idea for over 8 years. It was so intriguing to me that a symbol had so much programming in it.”

Kanye West also responded to Shopify’s decision to shut down his Yeezy website, claiming that their action was a “major victory.” He also said he “hates” the company.

The “Stronger” rapper warned other brands about how risky it was to use the e-commerce giant to sell their products.

He wrote, “Anyone who’s on Shopify just know they control your market and they have all of your data which raises the value of Shopify while excluding the brands from that upside. (sic).”

Kanye also boasted about not suffering any financial losses after his antisemitic tirade on X.

He wrote, “I said all these politically incorrect things and nobody was able to stop me extort me threaten me to change anything and I made 40 million the next day between my different business.”

However, he admitted that he lost some of his staff, including one of his “favorite Yeezy designers,” Simon, who made his wife, Bianca Censori’s controversial Grammy dress.

The Yeezy Owner Thanks Adam Sandler ‘For The Love’

Celebrated actor Adam Sandler joked about Kanye West being a Nazi during his “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” performance.

The “Murder Mystery” actor sang, “50 years of finding out your favorite musician’s antisemitic.”

Kanye responded to Sandler in a post on X on Wednesday. He focused on the part of the actor’s lyric that said “favorite musician” and thanked him.

The “Carnival” crooner wrote, “Adam Sandler, Thank you for the love.”

Kanye also celebrated rapper A$AP Rocky’s acquittal by reposting several news updates about the development as well as a video of the latter dancing.
