Kevin Costner Reportedly Approaching His New Relationship With Caution

The “Yellowstone” actor is understood to be “casually dating” Kelley Noonan Gores, the ex-wife of billionaire Alec Gores.

However, due to his last marriage ending in a bitter divorce, sources claim that Kevin Costner is being more cautious with his new flame as he feels “burned.”

Costner’s relationship status may soon change, as reports suggest he has already begun dating, but is still approaching it with caution.

According to the Daily Mail, the Oscar winner is now “casually dating” Kelley Noonan Gores just months after finalizing his contentious divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.

Despite a very busy Hollywood schedule, the actor has managed to make time for matters of the heart, as a source told the news outlet that he has been “getting to know Kelley” more personally, despite his tight calendar.

“Kevin has been filming and working to get a few films off the ground and also dealing with the recent lawsuit against him and his Horizon film, so the times he has had for himself have been few and far between, but he has been getting to know Kelley and it seems like they share an interest with each other and look to hang out even more in the future,” the insider explained.

The “Hidden Figures” actor’s divorce from Baumgartner seemingly left him worn out, as the source who spoke to the news outlet noted that he’s being cautious about starting a new romance after being left “burned” in the past.

However, he still believes there’s someone out there meant for him and is open to finding “true love.”

“Kevin is using kids’ gloves upon getting into any new relationship because he has been burned, but he also believes in true love, and if Kelley were someone to bring that to him, that would be great,” the insider said.

They further noted that Costner and the documentary filmmaker have “mutual friends, so if it doesn’t work out romantically, they will at least make a good new trusted friend.”

“This is currently in the wait-and-see period of it all, but they both aren’t running away from a potential loving new relationship,” they added.

According to Us Weekly, a friend introduced the pair to each other, but after that initial meeting, it appears that the sparks grew intensely between them almost immediately.

A source told the news outlet that they “are hanging out casually” after being introduced by friends, yet it seems one major obstacle has been the distance between them.

Costner currently resides in Carpinteria, California, while Kelley lives far away in Manhattan Beach, with the source adding that their relationship is “not serious” yet. However, they have “spent time” together in Colorado recently.

“They both frequent Aspen often and have mutual friend groups,” the insider said. “They have been getting to know each other and seeing each other casually when they can.”

Little is known about Kelley except that she’s the ex-wife of billionaire Alec Gores.

On her Instagram page, she mentions that she’s a director, author, and host, as well as “Mama, Meditator, Sports Nut.”

Costner and his ex-wife, Baumgartner, had a very messy divorce that involved months of legal battles, particularly over child support.

Baumgartner had claimed that their kids are accustomed to a particular lifestyle of luxury, and to ensure they don’t face any drastic changes, she requested a hefty monthly payment of nearly $250,000.

However, Costner fought this fiercely in court, arguing that his ex-wife did not need that much in child support payments.
