Khloé Kardashian Reportedly Looking To Make A Career Change

Khloé Kardashian, the ever-evolving reality star, is reportedly eyeing a significant career change after a recent hosting gig ignited a desire for a shift.  

This potential shift follows a period of reflection for the Kardashian, brought about by a reunion with her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. 

After the airing of a much-needed closure in her personal affairs, Khloe Kardashian is ready to explore uncharted territory in her professional life.

The reality TV star has been thriving in her role as host of the podcast “Khloé in Wonderland,” and sources suggest she is eager to make this her primary focus.

Insiders reveal that this is not a fleeting fancy for Kardashian, as she has diligently prepared for this move. A source close to Kardashian shared:

“She’s wanted this for a while and slowly worked up to it, even shooting test interviews that have never aired anywhere in order to refine her interviewing skills.” 

This transition is particularly crucial for the mother-of-two, who is reportedly evaluating her future with her family’s reality show. 

The source added, “Her hope is to get some kind of brand expansion of her podcast going in the meantime.” In Touch reports that this career move also offers Kardashian a chance to step away from the close control that her mother and manager, Kris Jenner. 

Kardashian’s ambitions appear to extend beyond the realm of podcasting. An insider close to Kardashian explained that while streaming opportunities are appealing, she already has a significant presence in that arena.  

Sources suggest the entrepreneur is envisioning “a syndicated show like what Drew Barrymore and Kelly Clarkson have.” They added that Kardashian sees potential in that space:

“Especially for an edgier, naughtier kind of program that speaks directly to the audience of young mothers who grew up with Khloé and her reality shows.”

This potential career move comes as the Kardashian family’s reality TV reign may be approaching its end. Another source had previously stated, “Everyone in the family knows they can’t squeeze this lemon much longer as far as TV paydays go.”

Kardashian’s life is undergoing a series of professional and personal transformations, as seen on the family show. While exploring new career avenues, the business owner has taken significant steps to address her past, including a long-awaited reunion with her ex-husband.

The Blast reported that earlier this month, their meeting, which took place at her best friend Malika Haqq’s home, was not about achieving closure.  

As Kardashian explained on the season 6 premiere of “The Kardashians,” “I haven’t had contact with Lamar in nine years, and I just think it’s time to shed as much as I can.”

In addition, her motivation for the meeting was also a practical matter. “I don’t have bad blood. I don’t have any blood. There’s no feelings. I want him to have his stuff…and that’s it. I wish I could just do that and not have a conversation,” she explained.

The socialite also spoke about her affection for Odom, even as she acknowledged the “bigger things” that ultimately led to their separation. “I got married when I was 24,” Kardashian shared in a confessional, recalling the whirlwind romance that led to their marriage just 30 days after meeting.

While noting the depth of her commitment at the time, Kardashian acknowledged the challenges that plagued their relationship. “There were bigger things that were not fixable in that marriage,” she admitted.

Kardashian also spoke about staying by Odom’s side through his near-fatal overdose in 2015. However, she revealed that she eventually had to make the difficult choice to end their relationship.

Kardashian’s emotional reunion with Odom was preceded by “The Kardashians” season 5 finale where she discovered that her biological age is that of a 28-year-old, despite being 40.

The Blast highlighted Kardashian’s reaction to the test results, which revealed she had the slowest aging system among her sisters, even surpassing Kim.  

“Never in a million years!” she exclaimed, adding, “If I had to bet money, I would’ve never bet on myself… Kim is livid, by the way. I know she’s pissed.”  

In a confessional, she reflected on her personal journey and addressed those who had previously criticized her appearance.  “The world needs to know that me, the fat one, is now better than the best one,” she declared. 

With newfound ambition, Khloé Kardashian is poised to conquer the entertainment world beyond reality TV.
