Khloe Kardashian shocked fans after beauty entrepreneur Nina LaBruna revealed that the reality TV star didn’t know how to send a direct message on TikTok.

The confession came after Kardashian shared a heartwarming post featuring her daughter, True, and niece, Dream, wearing Fazit’s viral glitter freckles, sparking a sweet exchange between the celebrity and the small business owner.

Khloe Kardashian’s TikTok DM Moment Goes Viral

The story began when Kardashian posted photos of True, 7, and Dream, 8, showing off Fazit’s shimmering makeup stickers.

The post instantly gave the small female-founded beauty brand massive exposure.

Nina LaBruna, Fazit’s co-founder, was overjoyed. She called her mom to share the exciting news and even recorded the moment for TikTok, and the video caught Kardashian’s attention.

“She commented on that video, being like, ‘Oh my gosh, my kiddos love that,’ and then I responded back, thanking her for being so gracious and kind and for even replying to my video,” LaBruna told the Daily Mail. “And then we’ve just been communicating a little back and forth.”

The conversation soon moved to private messages, but not before Kardashian made a surprising confession.

“She was like, ‘I had to figure how to DM on TikTok. I had to ask someone to show me how to use DMs,’” Labruna revealed.

According to LaBruna, Kardashian’s message may have been her first-ever TikTok DM.

She described the moment as “so validating,” especially since her small brand had caught the attention of major stars.

The connection between the glitter freckles company and the Kardashian family added another glittering highlight to Fazit’s growing success story.

Fazit’s Stardust Speckle Makeup Patches launched on April 30, 2024, promising to be “long-lasting, sweat proof, and waterproof.”

However, the brand truly skyrocketed after Taylor Swift wore the $16 glitter freckles while cheering for Travis Kelce at a Kansas City Chiefs game last October.

Swift wore them again earlier this month, further cementing Fazit’s place in the beauty world.

“She doesn’t realize that by choosing to wear a small female founded brand, the doors that she’s opened for us and the leverage that she’s given us,” co-founder Aliett Buttelman told the Daily Mail. “She has given us that stamp of credibility by saying, ‘I love this, so should you.’ She’s been so amazing.”

Between Swift’s influence and Kardashian’s viral TikTok moment, Fazit found itself in the kind of spotlight most start-ups only dream of.

    The Glittering Future Of Fazit

After their brand caught the attention of two global icons, LaBruna and Buttelman are ready to expand their empire.

“We’re entering all sports and all sorts of niche categories,” they revealed. “We’re just at the beginning of this and there’s so much more to go.”

What began as a lighthearted social media moment has transformed into a viral success story and a reminder that even Kardashian can have a little tech trouble now and then.

In the end, it was a glitter-filled DM that connected Hollywood glam with small-business dreams, proving that sometimes the most unexpected moments shine the brightest.

Khloe Kardashian Reflects On Being Fat-Shamed By Her Trainer

Although Kardashian has enjoyed several wholesome moments with fans, she has also endured some awkward experiences.

The Blast reported that Kardashian recalled a painful but pivotal moment from her fitness journey, revealing that her former trainer once called her “fat” during a workout.

“Remember when Barry called me fat?” she said while speaking to her sister Kourtney in the season seven premiere of “The Kardashians.” “This was years and years ago, and we were running, and I stopped. And he was like, ‘That’s what you’re fat!’ and I was like, ‘That’s why I’m here!’”

In a later interview, she reflected on the exchange, admitting that she was “fatter” than she is now, but felt it was a “weird way to encourage people.”

Kardashian didn’t confront her fitness trainer at the time but noted how common fat-shaming was in that era.

“This was, like, 2006. Biggest Loser and diet pills,” she said. “You were allowed to call people fat. But we never spoke after that. That’s literally the whole exchange.”

Now, after losing 40 pounds through diet and exercise, the mother of two looks back on the incident as proof of how much cultural attitudes toward body image have evolved.
