Kourtney Kardashian Talks Balancing Motherhood And Career

“The Kardashians” star is all about self-care being “non-negotiables” while juggling the demands of a thriving career and motherhood.

Kourtney Kardashian shares son Rocky, born in November 2023, with rocker husband Travis Barker, as well as Mason, Penelope, and Reign with ex Scott Disick. 

Kourtney opened up about how she keeps her energy and wellness in check while managing a demanding career and motherhood during the Women’s Wear Daily Beauty Inc. Awards in New York.

Apart from staying away from alcohol and coffee, the star revealed that her “non-negotiables” include “walking daily and taking my supplements, those are the two things. And getting at least eight hours of sleep.”

She emphasized that finding a consistent routine is key to maintaining wellness, even when her personal needs sometimes take a backseat to her kids. 

“Sometimes you’re last on the list and it’s not what I can spend all my days doing,” she explained, adding that moderation is her approach. The Daily Mail notes that Kourtney also highlighted that for her, beauty comes from within, rather than relying solely on external routines. 

Kourtney gave a deeper look at her wellness habits while speaking on a panel titled “Lemme Lead: Redefining Wellness & Access” at the WWD event. She highlighted how her Lemme brand of vitamins and supplements, co-founded with Simon Huck, plays a central role in keeping her healthy and energized.

Her nightly routine includes magnesium before bed and an oral probiotic, while another daily staple is Lemme Purr, aimed at supporting vaginal health, another “non-negotiable,” she said.

She explained her system is easy to follow, with powders and liquid colostrum spaced throughout the day, and even joked that she sometimes treats Lemme gummies as dessert. 

Kourtney’s choice to avoid coffee and alcohol might be for wellness, but it could hint at something more significant, especially after her Instagram post celebrating Travis’s 50th birthday. 

While the couple’s sweet photos were the focus, eagle-eyed followers zeroed in on a surprising detail: Travis was holding a tiny pair of black Vans sneakers with the initial “R” embroidered on the back.

Entertainment Now reported that the baby shoes quickly fueled speculation that Kourtney could be expecting. However, some fans suggested the sneakers might simply be part of Travis’ collaboration with the iconic shoe brand.

In the caption, Kourtney wrote a heartfelt tribute to her husband, calling him “grateful, generous, real, raw, dedicated, devoted, family man, talented, survivor, everything” and praised him as the “leader of our family.”

She added that he inspires her every day to be a better person, calling it “the greatest joy to live life by your side.”

The entrepreneur’s recent revelations come weeks after showing she would not let online negativity touch her family. In an October Instagram post, Kourtney shared a series of fun and whimsical photos.

One slide featured her youngest son, Rocky Thirteen, behind the wheel of a toy truck, though she continued her long-standing practice of keeping his face private.

The Blast highlighted that a follower criticized Kourtney for hiding her toddler’s face, commenting, “Still acting like we care what the kid looks like.”

In response, another fan wrote, “This is a sign you care [by the way],” and though Kourtney chose not to respond directly, she made her stance clear by liking the comment.
