Kristin Cabot Branded As ‘Karma’ For Her Husband After Kiss Cam Incident

Kristin Cabot‘s marriage to her husband, Andrew Cabot, reportedly hit the rocks before she was caught in a compromising position with her boss, Andy Byron, on a kiss cam during a Coldplay concert.

Andrew’s ex-wife, Julia Cabot, has now branded the whole situation as “karma,” following her own bitter split from the business executive in March 2020.

Kristin Cabot’s husband is accused of being an egomaniac who cannot be “affected” by the incident, and that the “only thing he’s bummed about is that he was embarrassed.”

The woman who was caught getting cozy and wrapped around her boss’s arms during Coldplay’s concert in Boston last July has decided to legally end her marriage.

Kristin Cabot and her tech boss, Andy Byron, went viral for the now-infamous incident as they tried to dodge the cameras, with Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin saying they were either “having an affair” or were “just very shy.”

It turned out to be the former, with reports suggesting Kristin’s marriage to Andrew Cabot had been going through a rough patch for a while.

Now, his ex-wife Julia has branded the situation as “karma” having its way, describing Andrew as an individual with a “big ego.”

Speaking about the incident to the Daily Mail, Julia explained that when Kristin first went viral for the affair, her phone was inundated with calls and texts from folks who knew her with the Privateer Rum CEO, noting that the first word that came to her mind was “karma.”

“I got loads of texts from people who heard what happened,” the 63-year-old yoga teacher said, before taking a jab at her ex-husband. “And 99 per cent of them said the same word: karma.”

In her chat with the news outlet, Julis described Andrew as a descendant of a “Boston Brahmin” family, meaning he is from America’s most elite upper class.

She noted that upon hearing about the incident, she reached out to Andrew, but he seemed unbothered by the chatter.

“I texted Andrew right after it happened, and he said: ‘Her life has nothing to do with me,’ and said they were separating,” Julia explained. “He’s saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money.”

“He’s not a nice person. Now something not nice [has] happened to him,” she continued, before adding that she doesn’t “think he’s affected by what happened at all,” and that he’s “probably embarrassed, if anything.”

Julia and Andrew were involved in a messy split after he tried to invoke the prenup they signed before their May 2014 wedding.

Their marriage broke down years later, as reports suggest they’d been living separately since July 2018 following what Andrew described in court as an “irretrievable breakdown” of their union.

Court documents showed their contentious divorce was finalized in March 2020 with Julia walking away with $1 million from the sale of their $1.9 million family home, $600,000 in cash, and a Jaguar car.

“He’s a Boston Brahmin, that’s their code: ‘This isn’t anything to do with me.’ His ego is too big to be affected by this, and the only thing that he’s bummed about is that he was embarrassed,” Julia said of her ex-husband.

Long before her affair was exposed for the world to see, Kristin used to be active on the social scene during her college years and was reportedly a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, known for its “pearls and parties.”

Yearbook photos obtained by the Daily Mail from her time at Gettysburg College, Pennsylvania, show her coming across as a party girl as she can be seen smiling with her sorority sisters while holding on to plastic party cups.

Sources who spoke to the news outlet said that she was quick to get in contact with girls from “affluent” families, as she seemingly carried herself as one also.

“She was definitely confident and had a very biting sense of humor. But she wasn’t super ambitious from what we remember,” an insider shared. “She was certainly a member of the more elite circles. We always thought she would do well career-wise, but sleeping with the CEO? No one would have expected that.”
