Shocking Video Exposes Alec Baldwin’s Version Of Events
A new video shared by Newsmax appears to completely contradict Baldwin’s claims about the Hamptons crash.
The footage, filmed from inside the garbage truck he blamed, shows the truck turning safely at a junction with no sign of cutting him off.
Moments later, Baldwin’s Range Rover can be seen on the right side of the road before suddenly veering off and slamming into a tree.
The clip shows no obstacles or traffic issues that could have forced Baldwin to swerve.
According to Newsmax, “there was no sign the truck had forced Baldwin out of his lane or any obstruction that required him to leave it.”
The video quickly went viral, with viewers saying it “clearly” shows Baldwin was not blocked.
Police later confirmed the video didn’t change their report, saying, “Our findings stand as accurate.”

Police Confirm No Crime, Cite Rain And Road Conditions

After the video leak, East Hampton Police restated that there was “no criminality” involved in Alec Baldwin’s accident.
Detectives said the main causes were the Hollywood icon’s “reaction to another uninvolved vehicle” and the “slippery, wet road conditions” caused by heavy rain from a Nor’easter storm.
The wet roads, they said, made driving especially dangerous that morning.
An East Hampton Police Department spokesman added, “Nothing Mr. Baldwin has stated publicly since has impacted the responding officer’s report.”
The stretch of road where the crash occurred is known for being tricky, and locals said accidents there are common.

Alec Baldwin Says A Garbage Truck Caused The Crash
As The Blast reported, Baldwin had shared his own version of what happened.
In an Instagram video, he said he was driving his wife Hilaria’s white SUV with his brother Stephen when “a guy in a garbage truck the size of a whale cut me off.”
The “Rust” actor claimed he had to swerve to avoid the truck, hitting a “big, fat tree” instead.
“I feel bad because I crushed my wife’s car,” Baldwin said. “But I’m fine, and my brother’s fine.”
Police later confirmed the crash happened around noon on October 13, with no injuries or tickets issued.
However, Baldwin sustained a little scrape on his face, which he showed off in the video while thanking fans for their concern.

Baldwin Thanks Police And Admits Feeling Guilty

Besides being thankful to fans for their care and support, Alec Baldwin also showed gratitude to the East Hampton Police Department for helping him and praised officer Ian Gerken as a “lovely guy.”
“Thank you to the East Hampton Police Department for coming to my aid. As nice and pleasant as can be,” he said.
The actor added that he felt “bad” about wrecking his wife’s car but was relieved that both he and his brother escaped unharmed.
The crash happened after the brothers attended the Hamptons International Film Festival to promote their podcast “One Bad Movie.”
Baldwin’s representative said he was “relieved that this was just an accident with no serious injuries,” and that both brothers were taking time to rest.

Alec Baldwin Eager To Visit Los Angeles To See His Family
After the incident, Baldwin said he couldn’t wait to leave New York and reunite with Hilaria and their seven children in Los Angeles.
“Going out to California to gather my family together, spend a few days out there, and then come home,” he said.
That same day, Hilaria also posted a video on Instagram, reassuring fans that “everybody is okay.”
She thanked fans for their care and support while smiling into the camera.
Meanwhile, locals in the Hamptons have revealed they weren’t entirely shocked to hear Baldwin had been in another accident.
“It’s like, ‘What did he do? What happened this time?’” Resident Vanessa Gordon told the Daily Mail.
She also told the outlet that distraction may have played a part in the accident.
“I wish I had a dollar for the amount of times I’ve seen people on their cell phones distracted, especially driving out there and on the back road. We joke that was like a sport, but it’s become quite serious out there. So unfortunately it would not surprise me if he was distracted, which is, it’s such a shame if that’s what it was. But thankfully no one was hurt,” she said.
