A Hispanic woman living in Florida, who is a legal immigrant, recently called in to Mark Halperin’s ‘2Way’ program and said that she is disgusted with the way that Democrats are falling all over themselves to help ‘Maryland Man’ Kilmar Abrego García, an accused member of MS-13.
She makes it clear in the clip that she is confused about why the Democrats are doing this, which is an understandable position. What the Democrats are doing in this case does not seem to make any sense.
It’s really just another case where Democrats reflexively believe that they must take the opposite position of the Trump administration. They do this no matter how illogical or stupid it makes them look.

“I don’t understand what they’re trying to say to the Hispanic community. Like, are they trying to get votes? Because that’s not doing it, especially for people like us, that we obey the law. I don’t understand why are they doing this? It’s not doing anything. It’s just making us more angry.”

This woman makes an excellent point. When was the last time you saw Democrats go out of their way to help an American citizen the way they’re going to bat for Abrego Garcia? The answer is never. And the funny thing is, they don’t even really care about this guy. They just see him as a political foil.
