You knew it was coming. The definitely organic, totally not coordinated protest movement woke up from its nap during the Biden Recession to whine about President Trump fixing the problems.
Axios relates that over 1,000 “rallies” and “visibility events” will take place in all 50 states.
You know those annoying people yelling at Tesla cars? (When they’re not firebombing them, of course). Yeah, it’s about to get even more annoying.
So what’s at issue?
Elon Musk Exists. For some reason, this is a huge problem for Democrats. They are truly concerned about the influence of billionaires, you see. No, not when Democrats are in office – only when Republicans are in office.
Social Security. The left has been trying to meme “cuts” into existence – which is nonsense, considering President Trump, unique among Republicans, has repeatedly stated that he is fanatically pro-entitlements. He’s the opposite of Paul Ryan. You’d think this would be a case for a common cause, but that only happens in healthy countries.
Laid Off Federal Workers. The guys who get paid twice as much as private sector employees and are impossible to fire are upset that the gravy train is over. I don’t really know what to say about that other than the interest on the debt alone will be $1 trillion this year. The federal “workers” will just have to get by with a real job like the rest of us.
Illegal Immigration. What do you even say about this one? The left wants illegal immigration, and as much of it as they can get. I don’t even think they have a good reason for it, just a general feeling of “morality” that has been drilled into their heads by academia and media.
“Transgender Rights.” The left is insistent that boys must be allowed in the women’s locker room and bathrooms. Opposition to this policy is “bigotry.” This is one of those issues that exists for the sole purpose of undermining Western Christian culture. Half of the zealots probably don’t even realize that fact.

In summary, it’s all nonsense. But that doesn’t mean it’s meaningless. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Political action is extremely important and will only become more so as we navigate the era of the Total State. Political action is what allows the left to win any victories at all, in spite of their patently silly and damaging policy prescriptions.
The lack of it on the right is why the left owns all the institutions.
As people smarter than me have repeatedly pointed out, the side that wants to win will always defeat the side that just wants to be left alone.
So what does the right plan to do to counter the coming narrative and news cycle?
