Lizzo Flaunts Her Slimmed-Down Figure In New Music Teaser

Lizzo is back in full force and is ready to entertain her fans with new music while flaunting her slimmed-down body.

The famous singer looked significantly slimmer in a short teaser for the music video to her upcoming song, “Love In Real Life,” leaving fans anticipating its release.

This comes a month after Lizzo gushed about how happy she was to reach her weight loss goals after years of exercise.

The singer posted a short clip to all her social media pages as she kicks off her new music era.

In the video, Lizzo, dressed in a body-hugging ensemble, could be seen lying on the hood of a white car, surrounded by people who don’t seem to notice her.

As the camera approaches the singer from above, she narrates, “Everything was so much simpler, and that’s exactly what I need. No views, no likes. Real love. In real life.”

The start of the clip is filled with the sound of a violin and synth chord. It then gradually switches to the soft strumming of an electric guitar accompanied by sped-up shots of Lizzo in different scenes from the music video.

It then ends with the title of her new track, “Love In Real Life,” and the date, “2/28,” supposedly the day she would release the song and music video.

Before sharing her new music teaser, Lizzo posted a selfie video of herself, continuing her trend of showcasing her toned figure amid her weight loss journey.

In the post, the singer, who recently celebrated achieving her weight loss goal, was dressed in a body-hugging black jumpsuit and leather jacket.

She put on a show for her fans by slowly unzipping the leather jacket to reveal her figure, swaying from side to side, and gesturing toward her body as she posed confidently in front of the camera.

Adding to the flair, Lizzo lip-synced to a background audio that quipped, “If being sexy was a crime, I’d be serving life in prison for multiple homicides.”

She also included a headline-worthy caption to the post, “Lizzo stuns in sexy new selfie.”

In the comment section, Lizzo’s fans heaped praises on her good looks and weight loss transformation.

A fan wrote, “That face card has NEVER declined!!! She is gorgeous,” while another commented, “Hard work pays off, congratulations Lizzo you look gorgeous.”

Sadly, some users chose to turn up the heat on the Ozempic rumors that have trailed Lizzo since she began losing weight.

A troll wrote, “Ozempic, you have done it again,” while another individual penned, “Ozempic queen.”

Meanwhile, some fans also defended the singer against the trolls

“What do y’all want from this woman? You hated her when she was bigger, and you still hate her now,” a fan asked.

Lizzo first revealed in January 2024 that she was on a weight loss journey in a TikTok Post.

“I am actually on an intentional weight-loss journey right now,” she said at the time.

She went on to explain that she doesn’t expect to be “considered thin” when she reaches her goal, but she would rather focus on being happy and healthy.

“Even at the end of my weight-loss journey, I’m not going to be considered thin by any means,” Lizzo added. “I will still be considered morbidly obese on the BMI. But I will be happy.”

Last month, she announced that she had reached her weight loss goal and shared evidence from her fitness app, showing she had achieved a body mass index (BMI) of 10.5 and lost 16% of her previous body fat.

“I did it,” Lizzo wrote in the caption. “Today, when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal.”

She added, “I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”

Amid her weight loss journey, Lizzo has been repeatedly hit with claims about using Ozempic.

The four-time Grammy winner chose to let the comments not get to her but responded with jokes.

“When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo captioned a video of herself sighing into the camera, which she posted in September 2024.

In a separate Instagram post for Halloween, the singer also responded to being mocked by “South Park” in one of their episodes by dressing up as the Ozempic alternative named after her.

The image also had the words, “Need self love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt, gain confidence!” designed by the side.

“Side effects include a smile on your face and a pep in your step,” read the small print at the bottom of the picture.
