MSNBC Finally Admits Biden’s Damning Record On The Border: Trump ‘Is Not Wrong’

MSNBC engaged in some accidental journalism late last week, posting a chart highlighting President Joe Biden’s disastrous record on the border and illegal immigration.

They did this, adding that President-elect Donald Trump “is not wrong when he talks about how border crossings were quite low” during his administration.

“The border was not Biden’s finest moment, frankly. You can see what happened here,” MSNBC’s Morning Joe analyst Steve Rattner said when introducing the chart.

“And Trump is not wrong when he talks about how border crossings were quite low,” Rattner added. “They’re running about 74,000 a month when he left office and they, in fact, did shoot up.”

Incredibly, they even attributed the problem to Biden, instead of making up excuses.

“Some of it was some things Biden said and some ways that they put a moratorium, for example, on deportations. But in fact, we did get up here almost to 300,000 a month.”

🚨Watch MSNBC’s Morning Joe show highlight a damning chart of the illegal immigration spike over the last four years under Joe Biden’s failed policies:

MSNBC Admits Biden A Disaster On The Border

Odd, isn’t it, how MSNBC never said Trump was right about anything in the past four years? And they certainly wouldn’t have dared cover the Biden-Harris administration in a negative light.

So what changed? Well, for one, nobody is watching any more after their network lied about Trump being “Hitler.”

A recent report by Deadline indicates that MSNBC and CNN “saw big post-election drop-offs as politics-weary viewers tuned out after Trump’s victory and Vice President Kamala Harris’ loss.”

MSNBC has been down 57 percent, and CNN has been down 49 percent since the period leading up to Election Day.

Is this segment on illegal immigration a sign that they intend to start reporting the truth more often? I wouldn’t hold my breath.

    A Rare Critique

This MSNBC segment marks a rare instance of the network critiquing Biden’s approach to the border crisis, implicitly validating some of Trump’s past immigration stances.

It’s the kind of pushback the president and the vice president rarely faced while in office. In fact, Kamala Harris, in a disastrous interview before the election, was confronted about the administration being soft on the border.

    And she crumbled.

“Was it a mistake to loosen the immigration policies as much as you did?” CBS News’ Bill Whitaker asked in what became a tense exchange.

“It’s a long-standing problem, and solutions are at hand, and from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions,” Harris responded with her classic approach of not really saying anything.

MSNBC returned to form in the above segment, claiming Biden “created a huge amount of jobs” while he was President, failing to note many of them were recovered after COVID or were second jobs Americans were forced to take during a weak economy.
