NASCAR indefinitely suspends Dye after inappropriate comments

NASCAR and Kaulig Racing on Tuesday indefinitely suspended NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Daniel Dye after he made inappropriate comments on a livestream mocking the voice of NTT IndyCar Series driver David Malukas.

Per Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, Dye “made inferences on the sexuality of another man in a tone mocking gay men.”

The 22-year-old driver from DeLand, Fla., will also be required to undergo sensitivity training.

    Daniel Dye indefinitely suspended

Dye was signed by Kaulig Racing to pilot one of the organization’s five full-time Truck Series entries with returning manufacturer RAM in 2026. He previously raced full-time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series with Kaulig in 2025.
