Nicole Kidman ‘Feels Betrayed’ As Keith Urban Reportedly Moves

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after nearly 20 years of marriage, and the actress is reportedly struggling with the split.

According to a new report, Kidman is “devastated” about their breakup and “feels betrayed” by the country music star with whom she shares two kids.

To worsen things, insiders claim Keith Urban has since moved on with a “younger” girlfriend after ending his relationship with Nicole Kidman.

Kidman and Urban are officially ending their marriage after nearly two decades together. As reported by The Blast, the Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce from the country music star on Tuesday, September 30, in Nashville, where the pair have lived since 2007.

Now, a source close to the star has shared with Page Six that she feels “devastated” about the collapse of her marriage to Urban.

“She feels betrayed,” the source added. “She feels really upset.”

Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, first met at a Los Angeles gala in 2005 and tied the knot the following June in a romantic ceremony in Sydney.

Together, they share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

According to multiple news outlets, Urban has already been snatched up by another woman since breaking up with the movie star.

A Nashville music business PR insider told the Daily Mail: “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”

Another source shared with TMZ that Urban’s inner circle believes he’s already seeing another woman, saying, “all the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”

A second source stressed that the news of his new romance is “all over Nashville.”

The split comes after a summer apart as Kidman was in London working on “Practical Magic 2,” while Urban was on the road with his “High and Alive World Tour.”

Before their split, the couple frequently expressed their devotion publicly, with Kidman telling People Magazine in 2024 that she felt “so lucky” to have Keith as her “deep, deep love.”

Just weeks later, ahead of the Met Gala, she admitted that having him by her side helped calm her nerves before the high-profile event.

Yet behind the public displays of affection, cracks had begun to show. A second insider revealed to the publication that the couple’s separation “really hasn’t been a secret” and that they had been “living separately for a while now.”

“People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable,” the source explained.

The divorce filing comes only three months after Kidman celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, sharing a cozy photo of the pair and writing, “Happy Anniversary Baby [heart emoji] @KeithUrban.”

Kidman and Urban, who share Australian roots, have seen both triumphs and trials over the course of their nearly 20-year marriage.

Together, they celebrated career highs, with the “Aquaman” actress earning acclaim in film and Urban collecting accolades in country music. The couple often stood side by side at award shows and premieres, publicly supporting one another’s success.

Their relationship also endured difficult moments. Just months after their wedding, Urban entered rehab for substance abuse.

Kidman, along with close friends, staged an intervention that the “Let It Roll” singer later credited with saving him.

“Everything was just designed, I believe, for that moment to fuse us together,” he told Oprah on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2010.

“I look back now and realize Nic has taught me so much and brought so much into my life and opened my eyes in so many ways,” he continued. “[This is] the best place I’ve ever been.”
