Amid speculation surrounding Nina Dobrev and Shaun White’s split, sources close to the pair have clarified that it had nothing to do with disagreements about having children.

“They both wanted a family,” an insider informed US Weekly. “It wasn’t that one wanted it more than the other.”

Another insider echoed the same sentiments, telling the outlet that the actress “couldn’t wait to be married and to start a family with” the athlete.

Prior to their split, the former couple had been together for nearly five years, with one of those years spent engaged.

News of their breakup surfaced earlier this month, shocking fans who had anticipated wedding plans soon.
