Pete Davidson And Pregnant Girlfriend Allegedly ‘Fighting A Lot’

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt, who are expecting their first child together, are reportedly facing a strain in their relationship after recently sharing the news of their pregnancy.

According to a new report, some insiders claim the couple engages in frequent arguments, while other sources urge understanding, citing the stress of becoming first-time parents.

Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson began dating earlier this year and have since moved in together, splitting time between upstate New York and Brooklyn.

Davidson and his pregnant partner are said to be experiencing significant strain in their relationship, just days after announcing they’re expecting their first child together.

According to an insider close to the couple, the 31-year-old comedian and the 29-year-old model have been “fighting a lot” behind the scenes.

“It’s getting out of control,” the insider told The U.S. Sun. “They’ve even started secretly recording each other.”

The couple currently resides in New York, a state that allows one-party consent for recordings, meaning it’s legal to record a conversation as long as one person involved is aware of it.

However, while one source paints a picture of growing discord, another insider pushed back on the claims, urging caution.

“There are a lot of pressures around first-time parents, and people react differently at any given moment,” the source said. “These two have been through a lot, and hopefully, folks can let them find their way and enjoy this special time in peace.”

Just a week ago, Davidson and Hewitt seemed to be the picture of domestic bliss, following the reveal of their pregnancy.

Hewitt shared the news on Instagram with an intimate collection of moments, including a video from her ultrasound appointment, a close-up of the scan, and sweet snapshots of her and the former “Saturday Night Live” alum.

She added a cheeky caption: “Welp, now everyone knows we had sex.”

Their comment section was swiftly flooded with supportive messages from fellow celebrities and fans congratulating them on the news.

When asked about the baby news, he lit up, saying, “If anybody who knows me, it’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited. Elsie’s excited.”

Davidson added, “I’m excited, you know, to see her be a mom. So we’re stoked.”

The comedian also reflected on how the pregnancy has shifted his perspective: “It’s the best. Everything else doesn’t really matter anymore.”

At the New York City premiere of “The Home,” on July 22, Davidson spoke with E! News about how deeply meaningful fatherhood is for him and the wave of support he’s received from loved ones since announcing the pregnancy with Hewitt.

“Everybody’s just been super excited for me, because they know it’s been my dream,” he shared. “I’m very lucky and very, very happy.”

The “Dog Man” actor explained that he’s especially looking forward to giving his child the kind of upbringing he didn’t have.

“I just want to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have. I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have, and what you didn’t like, not do it,” he said.

During the chat, Davidson also mentioned receiving heartfelt advice from friends and fellow dads.

“They all just have been like, ‘You’re going to be great at this. It’s the best thing you’ll ever do in your life,” he said. “(Adam) Sandler gave me some great advice. Colin Jost has shared his advice, too.”
