The back-to-back World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers are set to get a major boost to their starting rotation, with Tyler Glasnow nearing his return from injury.
The right-hander has been out of action since May 6 with a back injury. Glasnow is expected to rejoin the team soon, giving Los Angeles another formidable arm for the stretch run.
Tyler Glasnow’s return date has been announced
According to Dodgers insider Fabian Ardaya, Glasnow is expected to make his return from the injured list on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves.
Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts spoke to media members about Glasnow’s return and revealed that he will not have any innings or pitch limits when he returns. Glasnow threw 77 pitches in his most recent rehab start on Aug. 19.
