During a recent performance of her “Short n’ Sweet” tour, Sabrina Carpenter yelled for a fan to “get down,” only to quickly realize the fan had bad knees, prompting laughter from both the singer and the crowd.

While performing her hit song “Juno,” Carpenter encouraged her fans to “get as low as they can,” saying, “Everybody get down to your knees if you can … if your knees are working.”

After inviting the Philadelphia crowd to sing along, she pointed to a fan in the front row, shouting “GET DOWN!” only to realize moments later, “oh your knees are bad, oh sorry,” which prompted a laugh from both her and the audience.

Carpenter has recently been dubbed a real-life “Polly Pocket” by fans and fashion enthusiasts alike, something she doesn’t seem to mind.

“If you want to call me a Polly Pocket, a Bratz doll, I don’t care,” she told TIME. “You’ll meet me and then you’ll be like, damn, she talks a lot more than the dolls do.”

“Femininity is something that I’ve always embraced,” she continued. “And if right now that means corsets and garter belts and fuzzy robes or whatever the f-ck, then that’s what that means.”

Carpenter also shared her thoughts on whether she believes she has been spared the vilification that artists like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera experienced when they faced backlash for boldly expressing their sexuality in their work.

“No, I definitely get that as well,” she says. She’s trying to remember that social media is an echo chamber. “Someone told me this, whenever I would get upset or feel like I’m the only one getting criticized for something other people are able to do seemingly so freely: I’m the one that’s seeing all the negative sh-t about myself. My friends don’t see that.”
