    Re: “Trump preserved the Snake River dams. It will benefit the Northwest” (June 27, Opinion):

    Once again, we are on a path that chooses short-term economic benefit over an investment in the future of our environment, indeed, our planet.

    I wonder if us humans will ever wake up to the reality that the days of choosing short-term gain over long-term benefits have got to end before we end up following the path of the salmon runs that these dams have erased.
