Sydney Sweeney reportedly didn’t like being caught hiding in her former fiancé Jonathan Davino‘s car, several months after they called it quits.

The “Euphoria” star apparently screamed at Davino as she arrived at her destination, and insiders have now revealed her “frustration” with him lies in the fact that he “knows how to push her button.”

Sydney Sweeney has recently been linked to controversial music executive Scooter Braun, who’s understood to be unbothered that she met up with her ex.

Sweeney is reportedly displeased that she was caught hiding in her ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino’s car.

Over the weekend, the “Anyone Buy You” star hung out with friends at celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, where they watched Game 7 of the MLB World Series between the Dodgers and Blue Jays.

After the fun time, she boarded an Uber SUV but only traveled a few blocks away before she was seen getting into another car whose driver was her ex.

While they drove away, Sweeney attempted to evade being seen with him as she ducked down while paparazzi tried to get a photo.

The reunion was anything but joyful as a source heard the actress scream at him: “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.”

Now, an insider explained how their relationship dynamics may have encouraged the behavior, saying Sweeney is “frustrated with [Davino] because he knows how to push her buttons.”

“He’s hurt and she’s hurt that their relationship is over,” the source noted, per the Daily Mail, adding that Sweeney “hates that the paparazzi caught them together.”

Sweeney and Davino were first linked to each other in 2018, after which they got engaged in 2022, as she was seen with a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger.

She gushed about how she would love to start a family and become a young mum, but raised eyebrows earlier this year when eagle-eyed fans noticed she’d deleted a photo of her kissing Davino from her page.

Reports eventually confirmed that they’d broken up, with an insider telling People Magazine that she had doubts about settling down with him.

“She didn’t feel right about it,” the source said. “She is in the middle of this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago. This is what she wants to focus on right now.”

Although they went through a “very hard breakup,” Sweeney and Davino still keep in touch and have remained partners in their co-founded company, Fifty-Fifty Films, which is the production company behind her new biopic “Christy.”

According to the Daily Mail, a source explained that she’d moved on, but they still talk because of their shared business interests.

Just weeks ago, the businessman told the news outlet that he and Sweeney are “still friends,” but then noted with a laugh that things have remained “complicated.”

The “White Lotus” actress has since been linked with Scooter Braun after meeting at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Venice wedding months ago.

The new couple has also been spotted hanging out together on several occasions and has flaunted some PDA during their outings.

A source said that the label boss is unfazed that Sweeney linked up with her ex and that the couple “are still very much together,” as Braun in particular is “smitten” with the rising movie star.

Sweeney’s relationship with Braun continues to grow stronger with every passing day.

The couple held hands as they attended Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in Los Angeles alongside her parents, Steven and Lisa Sweeney.

According to a report, a source explained that she had “plans to take her relationship” with Braun to the next level, and that they were in fact thinking of getting married.

“When they aren’t together, they are always on the phone, on FaceTime, and messaging each other all the time,” the insider said. “They miss each other so much when they are apart. Before they go their separate ways, they hug and kiss for ages – like teenage lovers.”

The source added, “They are also planning on moving in together in the next couple of months. Either by the end of the year or by the beginning of 2026, so they can take their relationship to another level.”
