Taylor Frankie Paul Gets Clarity On Dakota Mortensen Cheating Rumors

Up until now, fans have only seen glimpses of the struggles between “Mormon Wives” stars Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen but more of the story was revealed in the first episode in of the highly anticipated season 2 of the hit reality show.

The up-and-down relationship between the two reality stars is now making more sense to people looking in from the outside, as they got to hear more about Mortensen’s cheating allegations from the other woman herself.

As fans of “Mormon Wives” know, the relationship between Paul and Mortensen has been anything but smooth. But what most people didn’t know is exactly what led to their breakup. Not wasting any time getting the fans what they wanted in season 2, the very first episode shed some light on that tough situation.

The new season picked up where the first season left off with the shocking cliffhanger of Paul and costar Mayci Neeley following up on allegations that Mortensen cheated on Paul.

In the season 2 premiere, Paul said, “Right after Ever was born, Dakota and I were living together and in bliss with our new baby, and I was even considering engagement. And then I learned that he was lying this entire time.”

That’s where Jenna enters the chat. Literally.

In the first episode of season 2, fans finally got to hear more about Mortensen’s alleged cheating rumors. And not only hear about it, but hear it from the woman in question herself, Jenna.

Paul and Neeley met with Jenna in person at Neeley’s house, a neutral territory. Jenna even handed Paul her phone so she could scroll through text messages exchanged with Mortensen.

After reading some of the texts, Paul asks Jenna about specifics such as dates and times. This was too much for Paul who broke into tears, but she reassured Jenna it wasn’t about her.

“It’s not you. It’s the situation,” Paul said. “You’re just, unfortunately, the one that was in the situation.”

Later, Paul said, “He definitely lied a ton,” and “Now I get why he was so terrified of all of this.”

During the episode, fans got to see Paul unravel all the things she was told by Mortensen and compare it with what Jenna showed her.

Paul said she was the “night girl” because Mortensen would spend nights with her while having “day dates” with Jenna.

Jenna said that she had some questions about the relationship between Paul and Mortensen but was told by Mortensen it wasn’t what it appeared to be.

“You posted a TikTok with him in your bathroom and I just had this feeling in my chest like, ‘Don’t trust him,'” Jenna said. She asked him if he was “dating Taylor” and he told her, “No, that’s just for clout. She’s just helping me build my social media.”

Hearing that was difficult, which might make all of Paul’s social media breakdowns make way more sense now to viewers.

Later in the episode, Mortensen shared some of his side of the story.

“When I saw Mayci call Jenna, I just didn’t want more problems,” he said. “So I decided to tell Taylor we just made out.”
