The renewed chart success was fueled by the September 25 release of “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.”
The deluxe edition added four previously unreleased tracks: “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding,” and “Babylon.”

Swift faced plenty of established competition on her way back to the top of the Billboard 200.
Four former No. 1 albums filled the positions immediately behind “The Life of a Showgirl” on the latest chart.
Olivia Rodrigo’s “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” climbed to No. 2 with 67,000 equivalent album units, helped by the launch of her “The Unraveled Tour.”

Swift Crashes Dakota Johnson’s ‘SNL’ Monologue

Outside of the charts, Swift recently made an unexpected appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” delighting her fans.
The singer joined Dakota Johnson during the actress’ October 3 opening monologue. Johnson joked about her dating history and introduced Swift as her “literal therapist.”
Swift quickly pushed back on the label, joking that Johnson simply turns up at her house “once a week” with an empty bottle of wine before unloading details about her love life.
The pop star later returned for the show’s closing moments, presenting Johnson with a turquoise-and-white birthday cake as fans cheered.

After surprising her friend onstage, the singer also attended a star-studded “Saturday Night Live” after-party at L’Avenue at Saks in New York City.
According to reports, Swift avoided the main entrance and arrived discreetly with Cara Delevingne and Ashley Avignone.
She was later seen spending time near Johnson as the group celebrated the actress’ 37th birthday. The singer reportedly spent around an hour at the event. Other attendees included Nathan Fielder, Stephen Spielberg, Gabby Windey, Robby Hoffman, John Wilson, and Shane Gillis.
