Texas DPS stats of SW Border crossings. Major drop in 12 months time. 2/21/24

Texas DPS reported a major drop in total crossings on the SW Border from 12 months prior.

There were over 4,300 illegal crossings on the SW Border on February 21st, 2024.

Fast forward 12 months, and the total number of illegal crossings on the SW Border were 199.

President Trump kept his promise to the American people and sealed the border by actually allowing the Border Patrol to do their jobs. Under the Biden regime, they were told to stand down while millions of illegals invaded our nation.

The Border Patrol has been working with Texas to make their jobs more effective. Last week, Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks deputized over 300 Texas National Guard Soldiers to help the Border Patrol protect the southern border.

More Texas National Guard soldiers will be deputized in Eagle Pass and Laredo in the coming weeks.

Texas has led the way in border security and was making serious efforts to stop illegals from entering Texas even when the hostile Biden regime was stifling their efforts. Operation Lone Star was launched in 2021 by Governor Greg Abbott to deter illegal crossings, to catch illegals already in the State of Texas and to try and stop drugs from entering the US.

Fentanyl has been one of the deadliest drugs to enter the US through the southern border, which has killed countless Americans.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution gives the US Government the authority and the responsibility to protect the country from invasion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

The rule of law is back.
