Spencer Rattler probably didn’t expect to be a starter in the NFL this season after being selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft, but that’s the case due to a hand injury to Derek Carr. With frigid temperatures expected, Rattler and the other quarterbacks have reportedly been spending time inside the walk-in freezer at the team’s cafeteria to prepare for the conditions.
“I think there’s something we said about just preparing for [the cold], so you’re not shocked, and it’s not something surprising,” QB coach Andrew Janocko said. “It’s something that you deal with as far as you prepare for the opponent and prepare for the venue. So, I just thought it was good to do something a little different.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Rattler has played in four games this year with three starts under his belt, completing 57.5 percent of his passes for 706 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 120 attempts.
