With Arch Manning set to step into the spotlight on his own, the Texas Longhorns are the top-ranked team in the Associated Press’ preseason top-25 college football rankings.
It’s the first time the Longhorns have held the No. 1 spot in the preseason poll and comes after a 13-3 campaign that ended with a Cotton Bowl loss to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
