Sal Frelick didn’t have a great regular season for the Milwaukee Brewers, posting career-lows in batting average, hits, home runs and RBI (excluding his cup of coffee with the team in 2023).
But he showed up when Milwaukee needed him most in Game 2 of the World Series against Tampa Bay. After the Brewers went down 4-0 in the first inning, Frelick went 2-for-4 with a game-tying homer in the sixth.
After back-to-back 100-hit seasons and a career-best 152 knocks in 2025, Milwaukee fans know Frelick can have a useful bat. If it continues to show up in the Fall Classic, the Brewers could be well on their way to a first-ever World Series title.
