Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani has been working his way back to full strength on the pitchers mound and was able to hit a major milestone this week.
Ohtani threw 87 pitches to get through five full innings for the first time as a Dodger, striking out nine and allowing one run on two hits to get his first win as a pitcher since August of 2023.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. At his best on the mound, Ohtani struck out 219 batters with a 2.33 ERA in 166 innings en route to a fourth-place Cy Young finish in 2022.
