The Charlotte Hornets are still struggling to win games this season, but one bright ray of hope for the future has been the play of 2025 fourth-overall pick Kon Knueppel.
In a 139-132 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the rookie out of Duke became the fastest player to hit 100 three-pointers in NBA history. Knueppel reached the milestone in just 29 games, breaking Lauri Markkanen’s record of 41 set in 2017-18. Knueppel has exceeded the expectations of many Hornets fans this season, averaging 19.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists-per-game with three 30-point efforts to his name.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Knueppel became the 91st rookie to make at least 100 three’s and is currently on pace to drain 289 on the season. With that being said, how many of the active NBA players to make at least 100 three-pointers as a rookie can you name in nine minutes?
Good luck!
