This weekend’s series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees isn’t just a rematch of the 2024 World Series, it’s also a clash between two of the best hitters in Major League Baseball today — Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge.
Ohtani currently leads MLB with 20 home runs in just 54 games, while Judge has 18 of his own and leads the league in batting average (.391), on-base percentage (.488) slugging, (.739) and WAR (4.2)
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Both Ohtani and Judge hit 50 dingers in 2024 and there’s a good chance both will do so again in 2025. With that being said, can you name every player to hit 50 home runs in more than one season in their careers?
