Tom Brady Blames His Busy Lifestyle For His Recent Illness

Tom Brady has confessed to fans that his busy lifestyle recently took a toll on his health.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner revealed in the latest edition of his newsletter that he was “run down and a little under the weather” last week after what he described as a “crazy October.”

Beyond discussing his health, Tom Brady also shared inspirational words with his fans about physical resilience and the key factors needed to achieve it.

Tom Brady’s latest edition of his newsletter featured a confession about how the pressure of being a working father recently “caught up” to him.

Brady began his note by detailing the whirlwind of activities that filled his month, seemingly to show fans just how packed his days have been.

“We’re more than a third of the way through the NFL season now. School is in full swing for the kids,” said the former NFL star, who has three kids with two different women.

“Personally, I’ve had another amazing CardVault store grand opening, a couple great collabs with Speed, another with Oz the Mentalist, and then there were the regular media hits as part of my role on FOX and the regular duties I have as a dad, a son, a business partner, an investor, and an owner.”

According to the football analyst, the constant juggling of his duties left him feeling “rundown and a little under the weather” last week.

However. He hinted that he wasn’t surprised about it all,  as such “happens to all of us at one point or another.”

After what appeared to be a mournful start to the newsletter, Brady switched things up with some words about physical resilience to encourage his readers to push through when they feel run down.

He claimed that sleep, hydration, nutrition and supplementation, and movement were key factors and went on to explain in detail how best to approach these goals as a human being.

The letter wrapped up with Brady reassuring fans that following his advice would help them “make the most of difficult moments.”

He wrote, “If you can get your sleep protocols figured out, your hydration up to par (or above), your nutrition dialed in, your inflammation down, your movement on track, and you stay pliable, then you have what it takes to cultivate the kind of physical resilience to make the most of difficult moments.

Months ago, Brady subtly directed a shade at his ex, Gisele Bündchen, with whom he shares two kids, Benjamin and Vivian.

He wrote in his July newsletter that his decision to play football is key to being a great father, a notion that seemed to take a swipe at Budchen’s past remarks about how his dedication to the sport prevented him from being fully present in his children’s lives.

“I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family,” Brady said, per the Daily Mail.  “I chose to do it by playing football.”

According to Brady, those times when he was “laser focused” on his career  were to create teachable moments for his kids about excellence, commitment, teamwork, and how “work is a big part of our lives.”

While Bündchen has since moved on with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, following her split from Brady, the former football star has remained single.

He has been linked to several high-profile women since the divorce, including Sofia Vergara and Kim Kardashian.

However, none of those link-ups appear to have taken off, which sources have claimed is tied to Brady not being interested in commitment.

“Tom loves being single, and he is not looking for a relationship,” a source told the Daily Mail about the father of three.
