Tom Brady shocked fans on Wednesday with a snap of himself standing next to his eldest son, Jack Moynahan, during a recent golf outing.

Fans and former teammates, including Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski, didn’t waste time to poke fun at the NFL legend, noting how the teenager towered over his 6’4″ dad.

Tom Brady, who shares his son Jack with his ex, Bridget Moynahan, and has two kids with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, often reflects on fatherhood and wrote a newsletter about being a “great parent.”

Tom Brady Jokes As Son Jack Towers Over Him In New Golf Photos

Tom Brady has officially been dethroned as the tallest in his family — his teenage son, John “Jack” Moynahan, has now outgrown him.

On Wednesday, the former NFL quarterback shared a carousel of 11 photos from a recent golf outing with Jack. In the first picture, Brady — dressed in a white T-shirt, black trousers, and a cap leaned proudly into his son, who stood a few inches taller than his 6-foot-4 dad while wearing a darker outfit.

The rest of the photos captured the father-son duo enjoying their time on the course, taking swings and sharing laughs.

Despite the wholesome moments shown in the photo dump, fans and Brady’s former teammates couldn’t help but focus on one detail: Jack’s impressive height.

“Is Jack standing on something? Besides business, lol,” joked wide receiver Mike Evans, who shared a Super Bowl win with Brady in Tampa.

Rob Gronkowski piled on too, writing, “Jack is way more beastly than you.”

Brady captioned the post with a lighthearted nod to the brand NOBULL, which merged with his TB12 company earlier this year: “Everything still pretty much the same ’round here @nobull.”

Brady shares his eldest son, Jack, who turns 18 this month, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, 54, whom he dated from 2004 to 2006.

He is also dad to two children with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, 45: 15-year-old Benjamin and 12-year-old Vivian. Brady and Bündchen divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

Despite the high-profile nature of his career, Brady frequently opens up about his personal life and the pride he feels in being a dad.

Most recently, he reflected on fatherhood in the July 29 edition of his weekly newsletter, writing about what it takes to be a “great father.”

“I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family,” he wrote, per The Blast. “I chose to do it by playing football.”

Brady went on to explain that his years of dedication to the sport, from long hours of training to maintaining relentless focus, were, in his eyes, valuable lessons for his children.

Brady emphasized that there’s more than one way to show up for your children and be a great parent.

“Remember, your children are watching everything. They see what you do in every aspect of your life and how you do it,” he wrote. “Reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent.”

In his newsletter, Brady added that even his career achievements weren’t what defined him as a father.

“And neither is winning Super Bowls or MVPs,” he explained. “Being a great football player didn’t make me a great dad, but how I became a great player certainly had an impact — from showing up day in and day out, to doing whatever it took to get better, be successful, be a role model, and to provide.”

Tom Brady Says Son Jack Prefers Basketball Over Football

While Brady made his mark as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, it seems Jack is carving out a different athletic path, with basketball catching his interest the most.

Speaking to People Magazine in 2023, Brady shared that his biggest hope for Jack isn’t tied to sports, but to his happiness.

“Yeah, he played [football] this last year, and I don’t even know if he’s going to play next year,” Brady admitted. “To be honest, whatever he chooses, I’ll be very happy. But he [also] loves lacrosse… basketball’s probably his favorite sport, but he’s a very good student.”
