Tracy Morgan blames food poisoning for vomiting at Knicks game, says he’s doing OK now

Actor Tracy Morgan says he’s doing well after he vomited and was wheeled out of his courtside seat at the New York Knicks game in Manhattan on Monday night.

“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” the 56-year-old comedian shared on Instagram Tuesday morning.

He shared a photo of himself lying down in a hospital bed with a smile on his face and sharing a thumbs up. On his chest was his phone in a Knicks case.

“Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” he continued.

“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs,” he joked, ending his post with “#goknicks.”

Morgan had vomited on the court at the game between the Knicks and the Miami Heat. Cellphone videos from Madison Square Garden captured the incident and the moments after, when Morgan wiped his face with a towel and people huddled around him with concern. Video also showed him put in a wheelchair and wheeled away.

The incident briefly delayed the game.

A Madison Square Garden spokesperson said in a statement Monday evening: “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” Representatives for Morgan did not respond to requests for comment overnight.

After the medical ordeal, several celebrities sent well wishes to the “Saturday Night Live” alum on social media.

“Sending good thoughts to Tracy Morgan,” Ben Stiller wrote on X during the game.

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III added on X: “Prayers up for Tracy Morgan.”
