    Five crew members were rescued Sunday after a U.S. Navy helicopter and a fighter jet both went down in separate incidents in the South China sea. In both incidents, the aircraft were conducting routine operations from the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Nimitz. All crew members involved are safe and in stable condition.Oct. 27, 2025
