The engines will keep revving for another 10 years in Las Vegas!

Formula 1 will continue racing in Sin City through 2037 after securing a new 10-year extension. The agreement, backed by Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., Clark County officials, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, reinforces the city’s status as a premier global sports and entertainment destination and ensures the long-term future of one of the most high-profile events on the international racing calendar.

The racing fun doesn’t only happen in November in Vegas though. There’s year round F1 excitement to enjoy at Grand Prix Plaza for visitors and locals alike.

    F1 Las Vegas

Held in the heart of the entertainment capital of the world, the Las Vegas Grand Prix has become known for world-class hospitality, entertainment, and an elevated fan experience for F1. The race brings together an audience across sports, entertainment, business, and culture, redefining what a Grand Prix race can be as a full-scale destination experience in the U.S.

Featured in the global blockbuster “F1 The Movie,” the race takes place on the 3.8 mile Las Vegas Strip Circuit, where drivers reach speeds of over 200 mph while passing Vegas landmarks such as the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian, and many others.

The recent 10-year extension to stay in Sin City means race fans can plan to visit for race weekend every November through 2037.

President and CEO of Formula 1, Stefano Domenicali, said he is “thrilled” about the race extending into 2037 in Las Vegas.

“We are thrilled that Formula 1 will continue racing in Las Vegas for many years to come. Since its debut in 2023, the event has been extraordinary, rapidly establishing itself as a premier destination for great racing, world-class entertainment, global business leaders, A-list celebrities, and influencers,” Domenicali said, according to a press release sent to The Blast. “It has delivered a strong and lasting impact on the local economy and community.”

He continued by saying it was “always believed that Las Vegas would become a cornerstone” of F1 presence in the U.S. and that “this extension, together with the success of recent years, reinforces our long-term commitment to this important market.”

I’m incredibly proud of the team we have build in Las Vegas and our shared commitment to supporting the Southern Nevada community,” she said, according to a press release sent to The Blast. “Las Vegas is unlike anywhere else in the world, and its energy, hospitality, and scale have played a major role in shaping what this race has become.”

President and CEO of LVCVA, Steve Hill, added, “Extending our partnership with Formula 1 for the next decade is a major moment for both Las Vegas and the Grand Prix.”

He added, “In just three years, the race has become a signature global event — putting Las Vegas at the center of culture, competition, and entertainment during race week.”
