America never learns. That’s all I can say about President Donald Trump’s latest attempted distraction from his Jeffrey Epstein woes.
Attacking Venezuela to overthrow the regime of Nicolas Maduro would be another fool’s errand of American foreign policy. The idea of removing Maduro will blow up in our faces and cause further chaos in an already dysfunctional society.
Venezuelans stream out of the country heading north to America and attacking that country will only increase the outflow of refugees.
Even with failures in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and many other countries, America’s attempt to influence has not taught American warmongers any useful lessons.
Repeating the same mistakes over and over but expecting a different result is a perfect definition of insanity.
