Greg Gutfeld tore mercilessly into former CNN employee Jim Acosta during his show on Friday night, roasting the alleged journalist for his new podcasting gig on Substack.
Greg shared a clip from the new ‘Jim Acosta Show’ and audience members gasped and then laughed at the low-tech venture, which Greg suggested may be sponsored by Windows 97.
It’s amazing to see Acosta reduced to this in Trump’s second term. He thought he was so important during the first one.
Greg opens by saying:
“Things are looking grim for our old pal Jim. The former CNN anchor has debuted his new show on Substack – that’s stack, but not as good – And guess what he named it? The Jim Acosta Show! Huh? Pretty good! But the first episode got off to a rocky start. Roll it, Doris.”
Greg then plays the clip of Acosta with a guest where there is a ton of dead air and a few technical problems. It’s a funny segment, watch it all below:

JIM ACOSTA: Apparently last night on Fox, comedian Greg Gutfeld — I don’t believe he’s a journalist. He’s a comedian there — took an interest in this program.
Apparently, he did a segment about my show, this show right here on Substack, last night on Fox. The segment was nearly eight minutes. Eight minutes!
My word to Greg Gutfeld: thank you, Greg. Thank you so much for devoting eight minutes of your television program to my Substack show. I really appreciate it.
As I posted on X earlier today, don’t you guys at Fox have anything else to cover? Oh, that’s right. You can’t say anything critical of Trump or Elon Musk, so you have to go after guys like me.
Acosta deserves any mockery he gets for the next four years. He has earned it.
