WATCH: Trump Calls Democrats “Mentally Damaged” – “They Want to take $1.5 trillion and Give it to People That Invaded Our Country” | The Gateway Pundit

President Trump on Friday told reporters that the Democratic party is damaged mentally, pointing to their agenda that seeks to make Americans care for illegal aliens that invaded our country over the last four years.

Lindell TV correspondent Cara Castronuova asked the President if he believes the Democrats will give him credit for ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, and he appeared to imply that they wouldn’t because they’re “mentally damaged.”

“The Democrats are really damaged, mentally damaged,” he responded.

“They want to take 1.5 trillion, with a T, trillion dollars and give it to people that invaded our country.”

    WATCH:

Castronuova: Do you think Democrats will give you credit when you finally end this war, like they did with the war in the Middle East?

Trump: I think right now, the Democrats are really damaged, mentally damaged. They want to take 1.5 trillion, with a T, trillion dollars and give it to people that invaded our country. They came into our country illegally, from prisons, from mental institutions, gang members.

They want to give them health care and take it away from our citizens. We’re not going to do that. $1.5 trillion. They want to destroy, they want to destroy our health care system. We’re not going to let that happen.

The government shut down at midnight on October 1 because the Democrats refused to vote for a bill that did not include $1.5 trillion in new spending with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits for illegal aliens.

The Democrats are planning to go so far as to keep the government closed until planes start falling out of the sky, one top Democratic aide said. They are holding the country hostage for their demands.

Trump is going to make them pay if they refuse to reopen the government. When the President was asked last week how many layoffs would be made and which agencies would face reductions, Trump stated, “It will be Democrat-oriented because we figure, you know, they started this thing, so they should be Democrat-oriented.”

Democrats in the Senate, for more than two weeks, have torpedoed multiple votes to fund the government.

They are demanding taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegals, continued funding for leftwing PBS propaganda, and $1.5 trillion in additional spending.

Still, at the same time, they’re attempting to blame Republicans for the shutdown.

Trump’s comments came during a high-stakes meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Trump’s meeting comes as he weighs sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine through NATO for them to take offensive measures.

Trump also spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday and arranged a high level meeting to take place at an unspecified date and time before the end of this month.
