Week 13 winners, losers: Daniels bounces back, Cousins doesn’t

Nico Collins, wide receiver, Houston Texans

Nico Collins’s return to the lineup has been huge for quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans offense. He has increasingly improved each week since his return and had a huge game on Sunday with eight catches on 11 targets for 119 yards in their 23-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

    Losers

Chubba Hubbard, running back, Carolina Panthers

Chubba Hubbard has been a bright spot for the Panthers this season and played his way to a new contract extension. But after the Panthers got their way into field goal range in overtime with a chance to win the game, he fumbled the ball back to Tampa Bay, allowing the Buccaneers to get the 26-23 win.

    Justin Tucker, kicker, Baltimore Ravens

Justin Tucker is becoming a problem for the Baltimore Ravens. He missed three more kicks on Sunday, leaving seven potential points on the field in a game the Ravens lost by five points. Some big decisions are needed here.

Aaron Rodgers, quarterback, New York Jets

Aaron Rodgers had two touchdown passes, but there was nothing positive about his performance on Sunday. He missed open receivers, threw a pick-six to a defensive lineman, completed only 54% of his passes, averaged just 4.9 yards per attempt and produced another defeat for his team.

    Kirk Cousins, quarterback, Atlanta Falcons

Head coach Raheem Morris is not ready to consider a quarterback change, but he should. After his four-interception game on Sunday in a 17-13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Kirk Cousins has now been picked off six times over the past three weeks with zero touchdowns. The Falcons have lost all three games.

    Tennessee Titans

Just everything about them on Sunday. They were not even remotely competitive against Washington, getting dominated in all three phases of the game. They are 3-9 and have one of the worst records in the NFL.

    Arizona Cardinals’ red zone offense

The Cardinals let a very winnable game slip away, 23-22, in Minnesota, and their red zone offense is the biggest culprit for it. They scored just one touchdown on six trips into the red zone. If even one more of those drives resulted in a touchdown, they might win it.
