Will Trump Prosecute Joe Biden? President Reminds Hannity, “He Didn’t Give Himself a Pardon”

President Donald Trump on Wednesday appeared to suggest his predecessor, Joe Biden, may have left himself vulnerable to investigation or prosecution based on his actions.

Speaking with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Trump railed against a slew of pre-emptive pardons issued by Biden in his waning days at the White House.

Those pardons ranged from committee members on the January 6th protest panel, to COVID response orchestrator Dr. Anthony Fauci, and even to Gen. Mark Milley, who promised to tell a hostile foreign nation if Trump were going to launch an attack.

In the actual final minutes of his presidency, Biden pardoned his brother and other family members involved in questionable business practices with his son Hunter, who had already been pardoned.

Trump slammed Pardonpalooza. He initially remarked that he had the option to pardon himself and family members before he left office the first time, but chose not to because, “We didn’t do anything wrong.”

Points Out The One Person Joe Biden Didn’t Pardon

President Trump went on to point out the suffering people close to him had to endure as Biden, during his roundly despised presidency, weaponized the federal government against his political opponents.

“And we had people that suffered, they’re incredible patriots. We had people that suffered. You had [Steve] Bannon put in jail. You had Peter Navarro put in jail,” he lamented.

“You had people that suffered and and far worse than that, they’ve lost their fortunes. They’ve lost their nest egg, paying it to lawyers.”

And here’s where things get really spicy. Trump points out the one man Biden didn’t pardon and probably should have.

“This guy is running around giving everyone pardons,” he told Hannity. “The funny thing, maybe the sad thing, is he didn’t give himself a pardon.”

“And if you look at it, it all had to do with him,” Trump mused.

    Would He Do It?

Honestly, it makes sense that Joe Biden didn’t pardon himself. Why? Because as recent revelations from the mainstream media point out, we’re not entirely sure old Joe was even in charge.

To be frank, I think this is just another example of President Trump keeping all of his options open, leaving the opposition to wonder where he might go. You know – What a visionary leader does.

Trump, though, has already expressed repeatedly that prosecuting one’s political opposition is bad for the country. And at this stage, Joe Biden has no idea where he is. Would it really be worth it?

“I could have gone after Hillary. I could have gotten Hillary Clinton very easily,” Trump has previously stated, referencing the ‘lock her up’ chants that arose during his 2016 campaign.

“I could have had her put in jail. And I decided I didn’t want to do that. I thought it would look terrible. You had the wife of the president of the United States going to jail,” he added. “I thought it would be very bad if we did that.”

Perhaps his views have changed after nearly having his life destroyed by Biden. But if he truly believes it would be bad for the country, then it’s likely Trump won’t do it. His concern is always the well-being of our nation.
