A video of a woman barging behind the counter, making herself two burrito bowls, and assaulting employees at a DC Chipotle has gone viral with over ten million views.

The incident took place on Saturday at the Brentwood Chipotle in Washington Place.

The woman had ordered Chipotle using Uber Eats but went to the restaurant herself when the order was wrong.

Roberto Hernandez, the Chipotle employee in the video, told WTHR that the woman had been demanding a refund and was angry to learn that Uber Eats had to issue it.

According to the report, “The woman proceeded to walk behind the counter and make herself several bowls, saying she wanted the order remade with double meat and other items. Hernandez said he looked at the receipt and it didn’t say she had ordered double of anything.”

“I was mad, upset. But I’m a man you know I can’t hit a female,” Hernandez said. “So I walked away.”

The woman spoke to the station and said that one of the employees hit her after she went behind the counter to make her own food.

“Before I threw the bowl on him or anything, all of them put their hands on me first,” the woman, who the station did not name, said. ” … I wasn’t aggressive toward them until I got assaulted. The video was cut short.”

Hernandez said that the situation did not end after she left and that she has now been threatening him online.

“Yesterday, she was saying ‘I’m going to come back and stab them and take their life,’” Hernandez relayed. “I was scared. She was scaring my co-workers too.”

A police report has been filed, but no arrests have been made.

In a statement provided to WTHR, Chiptole said:

“At Chipotle, the health and safety of our employees is our greatest priority. We are grateful for their hard work every day and do not condone guests who mistreat our team members. We are working cooperatively with local law enforcement and hope justice will be served for the individual who did not treat our employees with the respect that they deserve.”

In April, a deranged customer shot a Michigan Chipotle worker during a brawl over guacamole.
